Nutella Launches Nutella Peanut, Its First New Flavor in Over 60 Years

Nutella has launched Nutella Peanut, its first new flavor in more than six decades, blending its traditional hazelnut-cocoa spread with roasted peanuts. The product is available nationwide at major retailers including Aldi, Amazon, Giant, Hy-Vee, Kroger, ShopRite, Stew Leonard’s, Stop & Shop, Target, Wegmans, and Walmart.

Nutella Peanut comes in 13-ounce jars featuring a gold, peanut-colored label.

The launch follows a 2025 teaser by Ferrero, Nutella’s parent company, which hinted at introducing a nutty variety. Noah Szporn, Senior Vice President of Spreads at Ferrero North America, said, "Honestly, when a jar of Nutella goes viral floating in space, you start to feel like anything is possible.

" Szporn added, "Nutella Peanut delivers the same creamy experience fans know and love, now blended with the irresistible taste of roasted peanuts.

Our fans have been asking for this for years. " To promote the new flavor, Nutella will hold a Nutella Peanut Pop-Up event in NoHo at 372 Lafayette Street, New York City, on May 16-17, 2026. The pop-up will feature interactive games, rewards, Nutella Peanut-themed prizes, personalized keepsakes, free Nutella Peanut sandwiches, and dippable snacks.

Separately, Jif announced a new crunchy version of its Peanut Butter & Chocolate Spread, which originally launched as a creamy spread in 2024 and now includes roasted peanut chunks.
