Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Arrives in South Korea for Four-Day Visit, Meetings With Business Leaders and AI Startups

The trip follows his appearance at the Computex trade show in Taipei, where he delivered a speech at the Marvell Keynote on June 2. On Friday evening, Huang is scheduled to have dinner at a Seoul restaurant with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin.

Industry observers expect the dinner participants to discuss potential cooperation in high-bandwidth memory, AI data centers, autonomous driving, robotics, and physical AI.

Huang previously visited South Korea in October for the APEC CEO Summit in Gyeongju, where he joined Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Euisun Chung for a late-night meal of Korean fried chicken and beer. , with discussions likely to cover gaming and AI cooperation.

On Monday, Huang will hold a closed-door meeting in Seoul with executives from South Korean AI and robotics startups, the first known occasion on which he has met robotics startup founders in the country.

Huang is also coordinating a visit to Seoul National University's AI institute and robotics research center and has expressed interest in meeting directly with university students. Huang is scheduled to meet Krafton's Executive Director Chang Byung-gyu and other senior managers, though exact dates remain unconfirmed.

The companies are expected to discuss gaming partnerships involving Nvidia's RTX Spark semiconductor for premium Windows laptops, as well as physical AI.

Krafton founded a robotics company called Ludo Robotics earlier in 2026.
