Huang made the remarks after arriving at Gimpo International Airport aboard his private jet. He told reporters the Korean market is doing very well and that he brought business rather than gifts.
Visit schedule Huang is scheduled to hold an informal dinner with executives from SK Group, LG Group and Naver. The companies span semiconductors, data centers, AI models, software and robotics. He is also expected to meet gaming executives, AI and robotics startups, university researchers and students.
A meeting with Science Minister Bae Kyung-hoon is being arranged to discuss GPU supply and AI cooperation.
Technology focus Huang said South Korea's manufacturing base allows robotics and physical AI technologies to be applied directly to industry. He added that semiconductor manufacturing will become increasingly robotics- and AI-driven, creating partnership opportunities.
Later Friday, Huang visited an internet cafe in Seoul and met esports players, including gaming superstar Faker. He noted that Korean gamers have long been among the world's most competitive users of Nvidia GPUs.
