Oklahoma City exercised Luguentz Dort's $17.7 million team option instead of declining it before trading the forward along with Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins. The moves brought the Thunder seven second-round picks and $224 million in payroll and tax relief while positioning the club under the second apron.
In the Dort deal the team secured three future assets and generated a $17 million trade exception.
