Oklahoma defeated No. 2 Georgia Tech 8-7 in 10 innings on Monday in the Atlanta Regional of the NCAA Baseball Tournament. Dayton Tockey hit a walk-off solo home run on a 3-2 pitch from Tate McKee that cleared the batter's eye in straight-away center field.

The Sooners advanced to the super regionals for the first time since 2022. Georgia Tech became the fifth national seed eliminated in the regional round, joining No. 1 UCLA, No. 9 Southern Miss, No. 10 Florida State and No.

13 Nebraska. Oklahoma took a 3-0 lead after the first inning on RBIs from Deiten Lachance and Dasan Harris. Georgia Tech scored five combined runs in the fifth and sixth innings to take a 7-3 lead by the end of the sixth.

Jaxon Willits tied the game at 7-7 with a single into right field in the bottom of the ninth inning. Tockey hit his sixth home run of the season to end the contest in the 10th. On Sunday, Oklahoma faced elimination and won two games to force the if-necessary game on Monday.

The Sooners defeated The Citadel 15-5 and Georgia Tech 15-8. Oklahoma will play No. 15 Kansas in the Lawrence Super Regional, a Big 12 matchup. Oklahoma last reached the College World Series in 2022.
