Orioles Agree to Five-Year, $90 Million Extension with Kyle Bradish

The Baltimore Orioles reached a five-year, $90 million agreement with right-hander Kyle Bradish on July 18, 2026, that extends through the 2031 season and buys out his final two years of arbitration eligibility along with his first three years of free agency.

Bradish, 29, is 6-9 with a 3.61 ERA in 19 starts this season. The right-hander returned from Tommy John surgery performed in 2024. He finished fourth in American League Cy Young Award voting in 2023 after recording a 2.83 ERA over 30 starts.
Bradish owns a 3.50 ERA across five major league seasons, all with the Orioles. "Keeping players of Kyle's caliber in an Orioles uniform is an important part of our long-term vision," Orioles owner David Rubenstein said in a statement. The team thanked general manager Mike Elias and the baseball operations department for their work on the extension.
Bradish was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the fourth round of the 2018 amateur draft. The Orioles acquired him in a Dec. 4, 2019, trade that sent right-hander Dylan Bundy to the Angels.
