Phillies Score 15 Runs as Schwarber Hits Three Homers and Harper Cycles in 15-3 Win Over Mets

Kyle Schwarber hit three home runs, including two in the same inning, and Bryce Harper hit for the cycle as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the New York Mets 15-3 on June 20, 2026. Schwarber led off the third inning with a 456-foot solo home run off Mets starter Freddy Peralta. He followed later in the inning with a 457-foot three-run home run off Cionel Perez.

Schwarber added a two-run home run off Tobias Myers in the seventh inning. Schwarber finished 4-for-5 with six RBIs and four runs scored. He entered the game with a major-league-leading 28 home runs for the 2026 season.

Schwarber became the 67th player in major-league history to hit two home runs in one inning and the second player in 2026 to accomplish the feat after Yordan Alvarez on June 12. The other Phillies players who have hit two home runs in one inning are Trea Turner on Aug. 19, 2023, Von Hayes on June 11, 1985, and Andy Seminick on June 2, 1949.

Harper hit a solo home run off Peralta in his first at-bat. He added a double and a single in the Phillies' eight-run third inning. Harper hit a triple in the fifth inning to complete the cycle.

His cycle was the 11th in Philadelphia Phillies franchise history and the first since Weston Wilson on Aug. 19, 2023. The triple was only the eighth of his eight seasons with the Phillies. Harper used a 35-ounce bat for the first time in a game on June 20, 2026.

He had been struggling with one hit in his past seven games before the performance. "I was trying to hit homers," Harper said. " "I got close a couple of times," Harper said of the cycle. " "That was cool," Schwarber said.
