Poker player robbed at Las Vegas Airbnb after cashing out winnings

A Huntington Beach poker player said he was hog-tied and robbed of his winnings at a Las Vegas Airbnb on Sunday night. m. after cashing out from the World Series of Poker. Two men inside the home tackled him, took his backpack containing the cash, and left him bound with duct tape.

He said it took about 15 minutes to free himself before he ran to a neighbor to call 911. He added that the men knew the door code and arrived ten minutes before he did, according to neighbor surveillance video.

Investigation status The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed officers responded to a robbery report in the 1400 block of Crystal Isle Way. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made. A spokesperson for the rental platform said the company is aware of the report and stands ready to support the police investigation.
