The Nashville Predators hired Jamie Langenbrunner as a special assistant to general manager Chris MacFarland on Wednesday. Langenbrunner, 50, will focus on professional scouting, collegiate free-agent scouting and recruiting, and special assignments.
He won the Stanley Cup with Dallas in 1999 and New Jersey in 2003. After retiring in 2013, he spent more than a decade with the Boston Bruins in roles that included development coach and director of player development. He became assistant general manager in 2022.
