Prince Harry and Family Meet King Charles at Gloucestershire Estate

Prince Harry, his wife Meghan, and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet met King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Friday at a private residence in Gloucestershire, England. The gathering was the first time the King had seen his grandchildren, aged seven and five, in person in more than four years.

The private gathering took place at Highgrove House, the country estate west of London. Queen Camilla also attended the meeting.

Visit The children had previously met their grandfather briefly during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022. King Charles is receiving treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. Harry and his family gave up royal duties and moved to California six years ago.

Harry lost his final lawsuit against the publisher of the Daily Mail the same week. A judge ruled he had failed to prove privacy invasion claims. Royal officials had invited Harry to stay at Buckingham Palace but later withdrew the offer after he did not respond in time.

A government committee also denied security protection for the family. Harry and King Charles met briefly for tea in London in September.

Harry told the BBC he seeks reconciliation with his father.

“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
