Authorities said 416 of those arrests occurred in the early hours of Sunday, including 280 in Paris.
Around 20,000 people gathered on the Champs-Élysées to watch the match on large screens. Fans set off fireworks and flares, burned electric bikes and smashed shop windows. Officers deployed tear gas to disperse the crowds.
Clashes also broke out at Parc des Princes stadium between police and supporters watching the final on giant screens. One group attempted to storm a Paris police station. Authorities reported damage to six vehicles, two businesses and one bus shelter.
A road accident during the celebrations killed one young man. Seven officers were injured, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said. " Thousands of officers had been deployed in advance to maintain order and to curb disruptions to bus, train and rail services in Paris.
PSG players are scheduled to parade through central Paris on Sunday afternoon, including a stop at the Champ-de-Mars beside the Eiffel Tower, followed by a reception hosted by President Emmanuel Macron.
