PWHL Hamilton Signs Forward and Defender to Three-Year Contracts
The expansion team added two players Saturday, bringing its roster to four ahead of the Monday deadline. Four new clubs are joining the league next season.
sportsnet.caPWHL Hamilton signed forward Alina Müller and defender Nicole Gosling to three-year contracts on Saturday. The signings give the expansion club four players under contract before the Monday afternoon deadline that ends the second phase of roster building. The first two players added were Canadian forward Brianne Jenner and goaltender Kayle Osborne.
Hamilton, Detroit, Las Vegas and San Jose will join the league next season, expanding it to 12 teams. Each new club must have its first five players signed by the deadline. Müller was selected third overall by the Boston Fleet in the 2023 draft. She recorded four goals and 17 assists last season and is tied for the most assists in league history with 40.
Gosling recorded three goals and 16 assists during the regular season and added a goal and two assists in nine playoff games. She was selected fourth overall by the Montreal Victoire in the 2025 draft.
Jose signed forward Anne Cherkowski to a two-year contract.
Detroit signed forward Darryl Watts to a four-year contract, the first such deal in the league.
