Rafael Advanced Defense Systems is in talks with Indian defense companies to set up a production line in India for Iron Dome interceptors, according to recent reports in India. The company currently produces the interceptors at a plant in northern Israel. Last year a missile production line for the system began operating in the United States in partnership with Raytheon.
The discussions would mark the first reported effort to manufacture the interceptors inside India.
