Rail Europe has added the Campania Express to its Italian rail services, connecting Naples with Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vico Equense, and Sorrento. The service operates along the Circumvesuviana railway line and makes fewer stops than regular local trains on the same route. It offers reserved seating, air conditioning, and dedicated luggage space.
Chief growth officer at Rail Europe, Robert From, said the addition gives partners worldwide an option for connecting travelers with Campania destinations. Southern Italy remains one of the most popular destinations booked through Rail Europe, according to the company.
