Raman Wins Hollywood Hills District, Bass Takes South L.A. in June Primary
Los Angeles Times analysis of precinct data shows Nithya Raman leading in three eastern districts and Karen Bass leading in three South L.A. districts. Spencer Pratt led in three West Valley and Westside districts.

Paul Mitchell of Political Data Inc. aggregated county precinct results into council districts. Raman received 45 percent in District 13, 40 percent in District 1 and 38 percent in District 14. Bass received 62 percent in District 8, 45 percent in District 10 and 42 percent in District 9. Pratt received 39 percent in District 12, 37 percent in District 3 and 30.7 percent in District 5.
comparisons With nearly all ballots counted, Bass received 292,115 votes, Raman 247,242 and Pratt 217,638. Pratt's 25.5 percent citywide share was close to the 26.5 percent received by President Trump in the November 2024 general election. The article also noted that Measure ER, a county sales tax increase, passed after a week of counting.
