flipboard.comRazer announced a new Blade 18 gaming laptop equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus chip. The flagship system is available now on the company's website starting at $3,999.99 when configured with an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It can be equipped with up to an RTX 5090 GPU.
That starting price represents a $500 increase compared with the equivalent 2025 model that used the same graphics processor. The 2025 Blade 18 itself received a price increase before it went on sale. The new version appears to reflect a processor update from Intel's Arrow Lake to its Arrow Lake Refresh.
The laptop retains the same graphics card options as the prior year along with a dual-mode 18-inch display. The company said the screen is 20 percent brighter than before. It supports a resolution of 3840 by 2400 at a 240-hertz refresh rate or 1920 by 1200 at 440 hertz.
The 2026 Blade 18 includes Thunderbolt 5, HDMI 2.1, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an SD card reader, and an Ethernet jack. The system maintains the large chassis size of previous generations. Razer also increased prices on its Blade 16 laptop, which uses an Intel Panther Lake processor.
The model that starts with an RTX 5080 now lists for $3,999.99, up $500 from its initial announced price. The RTX 5090 version rose by $400 to $4,899.99. The company did not respond to questions about the reasons for the increases. The price changes coincide with broader industry increases in memory costs, which have affected multiple laptop makers.
