Razer released the Viper V4 Pro wireless gaming mouse. The device weighs 50 grams in white and 49 grams in black. It supports 8,000-Hz polling and 50,000 DPI.

The exterior shape remains nearly identical to the Viper V3 Pro.

A minor change appears in the white color shade. The ambidextrous form includes side buttons only on the left side. Razer replaced mechanical switches with optical sensors for the main buttons and scroll wheel. The optical scroll wheel provides distinct tactile feedback between inputs. The main buttons feature a concave shape and short travel distance.

The mouse includes a new Frame Sync system that aligns the sensor with the computer polling rate. 36 milliseconds. Three programmable RGB indicators on the hemispherical dongle display connection quality, battery level, polling rate, and DPI stage. Battery life reaches up to 180 hours at 1,000 Hz and 45 hours at 8,000 Hz.

These figures exceed the Viper V3 Pro ratings of 95 hours at 1 kHz and 17 hours at 8 kHz. The mouse supports customization through Razer Synapse software, including dynamic sensitivity curves and mouse rotation settings.

Pro receive only small performance and weight gains. The company states the improvements reduce latency and increase consistency. Users more than one generation behind may find the upgrade more substantial.
