Rockstar Games Offers Free GTA V Upgrades to Current-Gen Consoles
Rockstar Games will let owners of older PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V upgrade to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S editions at no cost. The free upgrade window opens June 18 and runs until shortly before GTA VI launches.

Players who own any edition of GTA V on PlayStation 4 or hold the digital version on Xbox One qualify for the free upgrade to the current-generation versions of the game.
