Summer league games continued over the weekend with multiple rookies recording double-digit scoring totals. Several first-round selections and undrafted players saw extended minutes as teams assessed lineups.
Arthur Kaluma scored a game-high 34 points for the Lakers in a 91-70 win over the Dallas Mavericks. The 6-7 forward made six three-pointers while starting in place of a first-round pick who sat out with a thumb injury. Zuby Ejiofor recorded 13 points and six rebounds for the Hawks in an 83-76 victory. The 6-9 forward, selected 23rd overall, finished with a game-high plus-19 rating.
AJ Dybantsa scored 27 points in his Las Vegas debut for the Wizards. Darryn Peterson added 24 points in his first Vegas game for the Jazz after earlier performances of 28 and 25 points. Cameron Boozer averaged 5.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists across three games for the Grizzlies.
Caleb Wilson scored 35 points, made seven three-pointers, and recorded three blocks and two steals in his debut for the Bulls.
