No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka defeated Jelena Ostapenko 6-4, 6-4 on Centre Court. Sabalenka said she watched Osaka's recent matches and is prepared for the matchup. Naomi Osaka beat Daria Kasatkina 6-1, 6-3 in 65 minutes on No. 1 Court. The win marks Osaka's first fourth-round appearance at the All England Club.
Gauff defeated fellow American Claire Liu 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-2. Gauff saved three match points in the second set before prevailing. Gauff will next face 11th-seeded Belinda Bencic. Fourth-seeded Jessica Pegula, 10th-seeded Karolina Muchova, and 2024 champion Barbora Krejcikova also advanced.
