Report Says Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Display Crease Will Improve
A technology leaker stated that the crease on the next Samsung folding phone will be significantly improved compared with earlier versions. The same source previously said the crease would not change much.
ForbesA respected technology leaker posted on X that the crease control on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 series will match the level achieved by the OPPO Find N6. The leaker added that an earlier comment referred only to the first test version and that the final version shows the improvement.
If the information holds, Samsung plans to release its next folding phones in late July. The same posts noted that it remains unclear whether the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will include the Privacy Display feature introduced on this year's Galaxy S 26 Ultra.
Samsung previously demonstrated an Advanced Crease-less panel at CES in January. A nearly crease-free display is also reported to be a goal for a possible Apple foldable device expected in September.
