japantimes.co.jpA. (Petrobras) for two floating production, storage and offloading vessels in the Sergipe-Alagoas basin off northeastern Brazil. Under the contracts, SBM Offshore will design and build the FPSOs while consortia led by Petrobras will own them. 5-year period under separate operations and maintenance agreements.
The SEAP-II FPSO (P-87) is designed to produce 120,000 barrels of oil per day, treat 425 million standard cubic feet of gas per day and inject 120,000 barrels of water per day. Delivery is scheduled for 2030, with operations planned 80 kilometers offshore in 2,500 meters of water.
The SEAP-I FPSO (P-81) will match the oil-production capacity and provide 355 million standard cubic feet of gas treatment and 200,000 barrels of water injection daily. Delivery is expected in 2031, with operations 100 kilometers offshore in the same water depth.
FPSOs will connect to an export pipeline that delivers associated gas directly to shore. The arrangement supports commercial use of the gas in Brazil and reduces offshore flaring and reinjection.
