The SEAP-I FPSO (P-81) will match the oil-production capacity and provide 355 million standard cubic feet of gas treatment and 200,000 barrels of water injection daily. Delivery is expected in 2031, with operations 100 kilometers offshore in the same water depth.
FPSOs will connect to an export pipeline that delivers associated gas directly to shore. The arrangement supports commercial use of the gas in Brazil and reduces offshore flaring and reinjection. Øivind Tangen, CEO of SBM Offshore, stated the projects align with the company's long-term partnership with Petrobras and will contribute to regional economic development.
