Singh Knocks Out Hager in Third Round of Power Slap Match

Amanpreet Singh knocked out Jake Hager with a slap in the third round of their Power Slap match on Friday night. Hager fell backward after the final blow and did not immediately respond. Singh had already stunned Hager on the ground with two prior slaps before landing the decisive strike.

Fox News reported that Singh ripped off his shirt in celebration after the knockout. The result marked Hager's first loss in Power Slap. Hager had made his debut in April and defeated Devin Jenkins by third-round knockout in that bout.

Hager announced his intention to compete in Power Slap in March. He entered the sport with a background in amateur wrestling and mixed martial arts. Hager set a single-season record for the most pins in the 285-pound weight class with the Oklahoma Sooners and compiled a 3-0 record with one no contest in four Bellator bouts.

Hager competed in professional wrestling from 2006 to 2025. He held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, ECW Championship and United States Championship, and won the Money in the Bank ladder match. He also appeared in Lucha Underground, Major League Wrestling and AEW.
