Sony Adds Final Fantasy 16 to PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on June 16

Sony will add Final Fantasy 16 to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on June 16. The game is the first mainline Final Fantasy title to use real-time combat instead of the series' traditional turn-based system. The company is changing its release schedule for Extra and Premium subscribers. In the U.S., UK, and Japan, new titles will appear on staggered dates rather than all at once.

Generations becomes available today for Extra and Premium subscribers in the U.S. and UK. The collection includes a remastered version of Sonic Generations. Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Life is Strange: Double Exposure will join the catalog on June 23 in the U.S., UK, and Japan.

Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire, and Black Desert are scheduled for June 30 in the same three regions. Premium subscribers worldwide will gain access to Gitaroo Man on June 16. The rhythm game originally launched on the PlayStation 2.
