Space Company ETFs Reach Record $5 Billion in Assets
Assets in exchange-traded funds focused on space companies passed $5 billion for the first time. The total has doubled since January and risen more than 900 percent over the past year.
BenzingaExchange-traded funds that hold shares of space-related companies reached more than $5 billion in total assets under management for the first time, according to data posted on X by The Kobeissi Letter. The post stated that assets had doubled since the beginning of the year and had increased by more than 900 percent over the previous twelve months.
The milestone comes as SpaceX prepares for a potential public listing in June. The Kobeissi Letter linked the rise in assets to growing investor interest ahead of that event. One fund mentioned in the post, the Tema Space Innovators ETF, saw its assets increase during the period covered by the data.
The same post noted that the $5 billion level marks the first time space-themed ETFs have crossed this threshold.
