SpaceX is targeting Thursday, July 16 at 6:30 PM ET for its 13th Starship test flight, @SawyerMerritt reported. The mission will be the second flight of the V3 vehicle configuration. The flight will pursue objectives similar to the prior V3 test, which introduced the updated Starship and Super Heavy designs.
It will also carry next-generation Starlink V3 satellites for the first time. The booster’s primary test objective is a full sequence of launch, ascent, stage separation, boostback burn, and landing burn at an offshore point in the Gulf of America. Several hardware and software modifications were made to address issues observed on the previous flight.
