AF Films Secures Spanish Remake Rights Spain’s AF Films acquired the Spanish remake rights to the Italian comedy 'Buen Camino'.

The adaptation agreement is between AF Films and Italian sales company Piperplay. S. AF Films is involved in projects including 'Sorry, Baby', 'Above and Below' starring Antonio Banderas, 'Hammer Down' with Charles Roven, and HBO Max series 'Mariachis'.

'Buen Camino' stars Checco Zalone as a rich and debauched father searching for his runaway daughter along Spain’s Camino de Santiago. Luca Medici is known as Checco Zalone.

Buen Camino Achieves Box Office Milestone in Italy 'Buen Camino' became Italy’s all-time highest-grossing film, surpassing records previously held by Checco Zalone’s 2016 film 'Quo Vado'.

The film grossed more than $82 million at the Italian box office and drew more than 9 million viewers. It held the top spot at the Italian box office for five weeks. 'Buen Camino' launched in Italy via Medusa distribution on December 25.

Gennaro Nunziante directed the film. 'Quo Vado' is a 2016 film about a Southern Italian slacker holding onto his government job after transfer to the North Pole.

Production and International Expansion 'Buen Camino' is produced by Italy’s Vuelta-owned Indiana Production.
