A wildfire in southern Spain that killed at least 11 people prompted Spain's King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia and their two daughters to observe a minute of silence on Friday. The wildfire claimed at least 11 lives. The royal family attended a ceremony at the San Javier air base in Murcia, located some 150 kilometres from the site of the tragedy.
"From this place, located some 150 kilometres (90 miles) from where this tragedy occurred, we want to convey our condolences, our affection and our support to all those who have lost loved ones," King Felipe VI said.
