Carson Hocevar stated that Spire Motorsports gathered Tuesday at its shop for a group photograph around the No. 8 Chevrolet truck Kyle Busch drove to victory at Dover on May 15. Hocevar told NASCAR reporter Steven Taranto that the gathering felt "heavy for everybody" because several team members had not participated in the post-race celebration after the win.

Busch earned his second Truck Series victory of the season and the 69th of his career at Dover, a NASCAR record. He competed part-time in the Truck Series for Spire while driving full-time for Richard Childress Racing in the Cup Series. Hocevar also said the team continues racing, adding, "racers still go on and race and do everything.

" Hocevar drives the No. 77 car for Spire in the Cup Series and won at Talladega in April.
