Brunson led the Knicks with 32 points on 11-of-25 shooting. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting, his lowest total of the series. OG Anunoby added 28 points on 9-of-13 shooting, and Josh Hart finished with 16 points.
After the game, TNT analyst Charles Barkley said the Knicks had reverted to an offense too centered on Brunson.
“I think the Knicks are reverting back to the way they played too much Brunson [centric]. When they were blowing out teams, they were getting [Karl-Anthony Towns] involved more.
