Swansea City are close to completing the signing of Motherwell winger Elijah Just for a club-record fee, bbc.co.uk reported. The 26-year-old New Zealand international played in all three of his country's matches at the 2026 World Cup and scored three goals. A Championship side, Swansea would pay a sizeable fee that would break Motherwell's record for a transfer sum received.
Just has also been linked with Celtic. He joined Motherwell in 2025 after spending most of his career in Denmark. He made 43 appearances for the Scottish club, scored seven goals and received a nomination for Premiership player of the year.
If completed, the move would reunite Just with fellow New Zealand international Marko Stamenic at Swansea. He would also link up again with summer signing Stephen Welsh, who spent last season on loan at Motherwell from Celtic.
