Four quarter-final matches will take place on Wednesday in the T20 Blast. Hampshire will face Essex, Nottinghamshire will face Surrey, Yorkshire will face Somerset, and Northamptonshire will face Gloucestershire. The semi-finals and final are scheduled for Saturday at Edgbaston. The Blast schedule was adjusted this year to 12 group matches per team instead of 14.
Group stage results Northamptonshire secured a home quarter-final earlier.
Somerset advanced after chasing 163 against Worcestershire with five overs remaining. Yorkshire secured a home quarter-final by defeating Nottinghamshire. Adam Lyth led the batting for Yorkshire. Essex reached the quarter-finals by defeating Hampshire and Surrey. Matt Critchley took 4-16 against Hampshire and three wickets against Surrey.
Player performances Aneurin Donald scored nearly 500 runs at a strike rate of 230, including 37 sixes, for Derbyshire. Hasan Ali took 25 wickets for Yorkshire during the group stage. The Blast quarter-finalists include four teams that host Hundred franchises. The schedule change allowed some counties to play opponents from other groups for the first time in several years.
