Team rallies from nine-run deficit for walk-off grand slam win
A team overcame a nine-run deficit in the eighth inning to win 11-10 on a walk-off grand slam. The victory came after the opponent had led by nine runs entering the eighth and by four runs entering the ninth.

The opponent had led 9-1 entering the bottom of the eighth and extended the margin to 10-6 in the top of the ninth. The winning team then scored five runs in the eighth before loading the bases in the ninth.
Ninth-inning sequence Luis Arraez doubled to open the ninth.
Matt Chapman followed with his fourth hit of the game. Mitchell Parker was summoned after Gus Varland failed to retire any of the three batters he faced. Bryce Eldridge then hit a 2-0 slider that cleared the right-field wall for the grand slam.
Pitching lines Robbie Ray came within one out of completing six innings for the first time since May 8 but allowed five runs. Foster Griffin pitched six innings before being removed. The winning team's bullpen allowed the opponent to add runs after the starter departed.
Reiver Sanmartin earned the win in his 2026 debut after surrendering a solo home run that made the score 10-6.
