Tesla Reports 480,126 Vehicle Deliveries in Q2 2026, Exceeding Estimates

Tesla reported 480,126 vehicle deliveries for the second quarter of 2026, exceeding the Wall Street consensus estimate of approximately 406,600 compiled by StreetAccount and the company's own consensus figure of 406,024. The company produced 451,758 vehicles during the period.

Deliveries increased 25 percent from roughly 384,000 in the second quarter of 2025 and rose 34 percent from 358,023 in the first quarter of 2026.

Model 3 and Model Y vehicles accounted for 467,762 deliveries, or 97 percent of the quarterly total. Tesla deployed 13.5 gigawatt-hours of battery energy storage systems in the quarter, compared with 9.6 gigawatt-hours in the same period a year earlier and above the 13.3 gigawatt-hours analysts had expected. SpaceX purchased 269 million dollars of Tesla Megapacks in April.

Tesla plans to report second-quarter financial results on July 22 after market close. As of the close on July 1, Tesla shares were down about 5 percent year to date while the Nasdaq was up 12 percent.
