Thailand’s 50 richest individuals saw their combined net worth rise 10% to $187 billion, according to Forbes. The increase followed a stock market rally and steady economic growth of 2.4% in 2025 driven by higher exports and domestic consumption. The top three positions remained unchanged.
The owners of energy drink Red Bull held the first spot with $47 billion after the company reported revenue of €12.2 billion on sales of nearly 14 billion cans. The Chearavanont brothers stayed in second place with $36.6 billion.
Energy-and-telecoms tycoon Sarath Ratanavadi recorded the largest dollar gain, adding $5.6 billion to reach $17.6 billion and remaining in third place. The Chirathivat family moved up one spot to fourth with a net worth of $11.7 billion after Central Retail announced plans to invest 18 billion baht in upgrades.
Beverage tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi rose 10% to $11.5 billion at fifth place. Industrial estate developer Jareeporn Jarukornsakul saw the largest percentage increase, up 69% to $1.25 billion on demand for AI data centers.
Two individuals returned to the list: the founder of printed circuit board maker KCE Electronics and the founder of renewable energy firm Gunkul Engineering. Three longtime members died, with their wealth transferred to family members or listed under family names.
The minimum net worth required for inclusion increased to $555 million from $420 million the previous year. Public company valuations used share prices as of June 18.
