ThermoWorks announced the Gravitas, its first kitchen scale. The device includes a detachable wireless display and stores the last measurement for up to 20 minutes. 4 GHz RF and can be positioned separately from the base using magnets or placed on a flat surface. Large digits rotate automatically 180 degrees.

The base unit operates for 300 hours on four AA batteries while the display runs for 350 hours on two AA batteries. Both components carry an IP66 rating, and the weighing plate is removable for hand washing.
