TNA Wrestling to hold 16-woman tournament for new Knockouts TV title
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling announced a 16-woman single-elimination tournament that begins Thursday on the weekly Impact program. The winner will become the first holder of a championship defended only on the television broadcast.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling announced Sunday that a 16-woman tournament will begin Thursday on its weekly Impact program to determine the first Knockouts TV champion. The new title will be defended exclusively on the television show. A former wrestler addressed the crowd at the Slammiversary event to deliver the announcement.
Tournament bracket The bracket pairs Indi Hartwell against Vicki Venuto, Harley Hudson against Thea Hail, Elayna Black against Wendy Choo, and M by Elegance against Rosemary on one side. On the opposite side, Jade Stone faces Alisha Edwards, Jody Threat meets Gabby Forza, Mara Sadè takes on Tasha Steelz, and Heather by Elegance wrestles Allie.

Additional matches planned Impact is also scheduled to feature Leon Slater versus Eddie Edwards, Ryan Nemeth against KC Navarro, and an X Division Championship number-one contender match involving Fabian Aichner, Mr. Elegance, BDE, Rich Swann, and Home Town Man. New TNA world champion Nic Nemeth, TNA women’s champion Xia Brookside, and Ricky Sosa are expected to address the audience.
