Peterson’s decision means other lottery teams will not receive in-person access. The team holding the second pick has noted the development. Past precedent shows some teams have still selected players who declined workouts, including one instance last year.
Peterson missed time during the season due to cramping.
Tests later linked the issue to high doses of creatine. If drafted first overall, he would have the most missed games by a top pick since 2011.
