Duffy wrote that Buttigieg "moved like a sloth" and stated the current administration had accomplished more in one year than the prior administration did in four years.
The video included clips from movies and referenced $12 billion in funding for new air traffic controllers included in legislation.
8 million to upgrade facilities at 41 airports in 24 states. The video also referenced 12,000 applicants for air safety positions, which the administration described as a record.
Duffy stated that the administration had ended what he called the "wild West era" of truck driver training. The post noted that California removed 17,000 trucker licenses after the department threatened to withhold $160 million in federal funding. The video also referenced $73 million in withheld funds from New York after officials found that over 50 percent of non-domiciled trucking licenses were issued improperly.
Buttigieg served as Transportation Secretary from 2021 to 2025. Sean Manning, a spokesperson for Buttigieg, referred reporters to a list of department accomplishments from 2021-2025 and stated that Duffy was "making up lies on social media.
