A tree fell on a 49-year-old woman walking near East 176th Street and Clay Avenue in the Mount Hope section of the Bronx around 1:30 p.m. on Memorial Day, police said. The woman sustained a gash to the head and multiple fractures to her right arm and right leg. First responders took her to a hospital, where she was listed in stable condition Monday evening.
