A 25-year-old woman named Angelina volunteers to provide essential aid to people fleeing Israeli bombardment in southern Lebanon while continuing to work at a glass factory in the northern city of Tripoli. Angelina cannot afford to take another day off from her job at the glass factory. Her extended family has taken refuge in her home from the south.
Hundreds of thousands of displaced people have entered Tripoli. Angelina finds herself in a constant state of unease, increasingly aware that she is as vulnerable as those she helps. The documentary film Lebanon: What Holds Us Together was made by Ahmad Naboulsi.
