President Trump announced an expansion of the TrumpRx prescription-drug platform at a White House event on Monday. The site now offers access to 600 generic medications and partners with the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company. The revamped website allows users to search for generic versions of brand-name drugs with one click. Visitors can also view neighborhood price maps and delivery options.
TrumpRx does not sell medications directly but directs users to participating pharmacies and mail-order services. Several brand-name drugs already listed on the site carry discounts exceeding 80 percent off list prices. 02. 51. 50 and Jentadueto at $55.
Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban attended the event and said Republicans, independents, and Democrats all want cheaper drugs. He described the effort as an opportunity to work across party lines. Trump acknowledged Cuban’s past criticism and said the entrepreneur made a mistake during the 2024 campaign but now has a good company that will do business through the platform.
The administration has negotiated agreements with several manufacturers to lower prices for government programs and direct-to-consumer sales. Companies including Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis, Amgen, and GSK have added products to the platform. Trump said Americans previously paid the highest drug prices in the world and now pay the lowest price paid for anybody in any country.
