Trump Approval Rating at 35 Percent in Latest Reuters/Ipsos Poll
A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Tuesday showed President Donald Trump with a 35 percent approval rating among U.S. adults. The survey found disapproval among Republicans rose to 21 percent from 5 percent in January.

Among Republicans, the share who disapprove of his job performance rose to 21 percent from 5 percent shortly after he took office in January 2025.
Republicans who said Trump is doing a good job fell three points from earlier this month to 79 percent. That figure is down from 91 percent at the start of his term. A separate Reuters/Ipsos survey of 1,507 registered voters conducted May 11-15 found majority disapproval on five issues: immigration, the economy, the Israel-Palestine conflict, the war in Iran, and the cost of living.
Nearly half of respondents, 49 percent, rated the economy as poor, an 11-point rise from January. Only 28 percent said Trump has handled the cost of living well, a six-point drop since January. 30 a gallon on Thursday. Three-quarters of respondents said the administration is at least partly to blame for the increase.
