President Donald Trump announced his full endorsement of Jackson Lahmeyer, a pastor and business leader running to succeed Rep. Kevin Hern. Lahmeyer, a pastor, business leader and fourth-generation Oklahoman, has built his campaign around faith-based leadership, Christian conservative values, and support for small business and energy independence.
Through his work in the ministry and his entrepreneurship, he has become a prominent voice among young conservatives in Oklahoma. Jackson Lahmeyer has been a supporter of Donald Trump since the beginning of the Make America Great Again movement in 2016.
He is a member of the National Faith Advisory Board and founded Pastors For Trump, a coalition of Christians and pastors that support Trump’s “America First” agenda.
Washington Examiner reported that Lahmeyer first ran for public office in 2022 when he lost the Senate Republican primary to Sen. James Lankford. He is now running to replace Rep. Kevin Hern, who is seeking Oklahoma’s open Senate seat.
Trump noted that Lahmeyer has collaborated with White House faith officials while championing the president’s campaign. The endorsement arrives as Lahmeyer seeks to transition from ministry and business leadership into a congressional role centered on conservative policy priorities.
