Trump Media to Launch Paid Truth API for Real-Time Posts

Trump Media & Technology Group announced Thursday that it will launch Truth API, a paid service giving institutional customers real-time access to posts from multiple high-ranking Truth Social accounts. The API is scheduled to begin August 1. It will deliver posts to customers in milliseconds, operate 24 hours a day, and include an archive of posts dating back to 2022.

The company said customers had already signed up and that it is onboarding additional partners. Kevin McGurn, interim CEO of TMTG, stated that markets already move on Truth Social posts. CNN reported that the API will deliver a direct, licensed, real-time feed of the platform’s most market-moving Truths while advancing the company’s strategy to monetize proprietary assets through a high-margin, recurring revenue stream.

TMTG stock closed at $9.63 on Thursday, up 0.6 percent. Shares are down 70 percent since President Trump took office in January 2025 and down almost 30 percent in 2026 year-to-date. President Donald Trump indirectly owns roughly 53 percent of TMTG through shares transferred to a trust in December 2024.

Kevin McGurn replaced Devin Nunes as interim CEO of TMTG. Truth Social was launched by President Trump in February 2022 and has 9 million followers.
