The White House and Department of Health and Human Services launched TrumpRx earlier this year as a direct-to-consumer site for name-brand drugs priced at Most Favored Nation rates. The platform lists steep discounts on medications including Wegovy, Ozempic, and several inhalers.
TrumpRx does not sell medicine directly but directs users to partner pharmacies. The site previously focused on brand-name drugs not covered by insurance.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said more than 600 generic drugs have been added. The White House Council of Economic Advisers estimates TrumpRx will save the public $529 billion in prescription costs over its first decade.
Cost Plus Drug Company offers complete price transparency with a 15 percent markup plus fixed fees. The company ships mail-order generics directly to consumers without processing insurance. Cuban said at the event that Republicans, independents, and Democrats all want cheaper drugs.
He noted the platform creates long-term market effects through public-private partnerships. HHS adviser Chris Klomp said the partnerships will stabilize drug prices. The administration has secured agreements with more than a dozen pharmaceutical companies under threat of tariffs.
