The same day, Iranian state media posted a video appearing to show Iranian forces seizing the Chinese-owned oil tanker Ocean Koi. U.S. has fired at Iran since a supposed ceasefire began on April 7, 2026.
U.S. at least 11 times, according to @Forbes reported. On May 7, 2026, Iran attempted to attack three American destroyers with missiles and drones as they transited out of the Strait of Hormuz, President Donald Trump said.
"There was no damage done to the three Destroyers, but great damage done to the Iranian attackers . . . they were completely destroyed along with numerous small boats," he added.
