Pakistan's prime minister said Friday that the United States and Iran have reached the final agreed text of a deal aimed at ending their war in the Middle East. The prime minister stated that mediators are working with both sides to finalize the agreement. Pakistan has led the mediation between the two sides, officials said, seeking to bring the hostilities to an end and reopen the waterway.
The war between the United States and Iran has lasted more than 100 days. The fighting has kept the Strait of Hormuz effectively closed. Lebanon's Social Affairs Minister Hanine Al Sayyed discussed the developments in an interview published on 13/06/2026.
"Lebanon is the one to chart its own path forward," she said.
