U.S. Military Continues Enforcing Blockade of Iranian Ports

U.S. forces redirected five vessels and disabled one vessel under the renewed blockade of Iranian ports that restarted July 14. Officials stated they will continue to strictly enforce the measures. The State Department issued a worldwide travel advisory urging U.S. citizens to exercise increased caution due to Middle East tensions.

The alert warned that groups supportive of Iran may target U.S. interests overseas.

Kuwait condemned what they described as Iranian attacks on Kuwait and other countries in the region. The two foreign ministers discussed security and stability efforts during a phone call. Officials said attacks on civilian infrastructure violate international law.

Israel's military stated it was not responsible for an explosive device that killed a Lebanese soldier in al-Mansouri. The military said the device likely belonged to Hezbollah and that its forces had not been in the area recently.

U.S. service members were killed in Iranian attacks on Jordan yesterday, bringing the total to 16 U.S. military deaths since the start of the U.S.-Israeli operations against Iran. More than 400 others have been wounded, and one service member remains missing.

Israeli artillery fire in Gaza City's Zeitoun neighborhood killed one woman and wounded several others, according to ambulance services. Ten Palestinians, including three children, have been killed in raids on Gaza City since dawn, with 24 total deaths reported across the Strip since yesterday.
