U.S. School Enrollment Falls Nearly 1 Million Since 2019 as Latino Share Rises to 24%
Census data show white non-Latino enrollment dropped to 36.6 million while Latino enrollment rose to 18.4 million. Total school enrollment also declined nearly 4 million from its 2011 peak.
